Our latest project brings us to the rural village of Konstantinovskoe....
We will be helping a wonderful orphanage/boarding school. The children residing in this home are aged 7-17. The children
are well-loved by their caretakers and director, but the orphanage is under-equipped and neglected. Very few adoptions have
been through this rural village. Not only do they receive less funding from the government, but also receive very few (if
any) donations. Despite these setbacks, this is one of the best run orphanages we have ever visited. It is rare to find orphanage
staff as committed and dedicated to their children. The love and care received from the directors and staff is reflected in
the behavior and disposition of the children here. We first visited this orphanage last fall and immediately fell in love
with the charming and sweet children.
The children wear uniforms during the school day, however they are in terrible condition. We were very pleased when we
realized that the children wore uniforms. It brings a feeling of community and unity.
We have made an arrangement with French Toast Uniforms to purchase uniforms at a discounted price. There are about 120
children residing in the boarding school. With your help we hope to provide each child with a new uniform! Not only will this
help by providing much needed clothing to this home, but it will give the children such well-deserved pride and spirit.
We will be able to provide and deliver a full uniform to each child for $23.00 for a girl and $27.00 for a boy. To make
it simple we are asking for $25.00 per child. You have the option below of donating "per child", or a flat donation
of your choice for the cause.
This is a huge project and cannot be done without an enormous amount of help! Please pass this on to friends, family,
