| Zelenokumsk "Baby group" 2003 |
The photograph above shows children from the youngest group in the Zelenokumsk orphanage. These children are residing in an
extremely under-equipped setting. Their environment is not pleasant or safe, and due to the fact that the children in this
home range from 2-18 the little ones are often either ignored or exposed to inappropriate behavior. By remodeling their group
and donating stimulating toys we hope to provide them with a little haven to escape their surrounding environment.
If all goes well we will continue with the next group and work our way up through the orphanage until all groups have
been renovated. While the older children's groups are also in need of renovations, the need is nowhere near that of the baby
group.
We have a caretaker from this Children's home staying with us here in California and are currently arranging the details
for this project. We estimate a cost of over $5,000 to fund this project. Your support is greatly appreciated!
